Azure Group is delighted to welcome our new Virtual CFO, Adam Purss to the team. Adam is based in our Queensland office and brings a wealth of experience to the team.
Adam has over 17 years experience in accounting and finance, building his skills across a wide range of industries, including funds management, property, mining, education, retail, manufacturing, petroleum, hotel operations/hospitality, and not-for-profit organisations.
Adam’s diverse background in both a commercial and financial controller capacity has helped him to develop a niche skill set that is in demand for growing SMEs. Adam has worked with numerous ASX-listed companies and supported them with their statutory financial reporting and accounting issues.
Adam’s technical training and expertise as a CFO has seen him deliver strong financial reporting, implement effective cash flow strategies and introduce enhanced accounting functions and process improvement within SME businesses.
In 2009, Adam became Director of MFA Consulting and specialised in:
- Outsourcing key finance roles - CFO, Company Secretary
- Financial statement and audit assistance
- Accounting assistance
- Strategy and business planning advisory
- Transaction due diligence and negotiation
- Acquisition integration
- Banking and finance structuring and negotiation
In 2013 Adam joined Azure Group as a Virtual CFO servicing the Queensland SME community and is passionate about helping driven business owners achieve their business goals.
