If you have a corporate trustee for your Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF), then you are a Company Director, and need a Director Identification Number (DIN), a 15 digit identification number issued by the Australian Business Registry Services (ABRS).
All Company Directors need to apply for their DIN by 30 November 2022.

If you are a company director, acting alternate director, management committee member of ‘registered bodies’, registered foreign company or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporation, you are required to have your own unique DIN.
How to apply for DIN?
The applications for DIN are available:

by phone; or
-
with a paper form
