Tax Alert ~ NSW Payroll Tax Extension and July lodgment date

To assist customers with the impact of COVID-19, NSW Revenue have extended the due date for lodgment and payment of the 2021 Payroll Tax annual reconciliation to 30 August 2021.



July 2021 monthly return due date
The due date for the July 2021 monthly return remains unchanged and payments are due on 9 August 2021 (the 7th of the month falls on the weekend). The threshold commencing 1 July 2021 is $1.2 million. The NSW Payroll tax rate is 4.85%.
